Sandra Fowler, Executive Director
Coosada, Deatsville, Elmore and Millbrook are the combined communities served by this chamber. Our goal is to continue to serve our members in a professional manner that will not only enhance their business, but promote the whole of West Elmore County. Outdoor activities, great schools, a range in home prices, interstate access and a small town atmosphere are all available right here, one of the fastest growing areas in the State of Alabama.
Millbrook is approximately 13 miles north of Montgomery on I-65 (exit Highway 143 or Highway 14). Millbrook has only been a municipality since 1978. However, Elmore County is now the third fastest growing county in Alabama. Millbrook, although not the county seat, is the largest city in Elmore County with a population of close to 13,000 and another estimated 7,000 persons residing within the 3 mile police jurisdiction. Millbrook has and will continue to enjoy a phenomenal residential boom.
Easy access to Interstate 65, Alabama's primary north/south artery; State Highway 14, our east/west connection; and the new Alabama River Parkway, our connection to east Montgomery, makes Millbrook an attractive destination, not only for new residents, but commercial interests as well. New retail and service oriented developments are emerging rapidly throughout the city to take advantage of the consistently expanding customer base. An active Chamber of Commerce stands ready to assist the newcomer, whether resident or business. Good schools, low crime rates, bargain land prices, and a beautiful country atmosphere all contribute to Millbrook's appeal. Give us a call or just stop by, "We look forward to seeing you in Millbrook!"
